September 11, 2016 Memorial Service

The Borough of Wood-Ridge invites you to the 15 year anniversary Memorial Service to honor the heroes and victims of September 11, 2001. The service will be held at Veterans Memorial Park, located on Valley Boulevard and Highland Avenue-on Sunday, September 11th at 9:00 am.

The Knights of Columbus Saint Anthony's Council 11585 will sponsor a Blood Drive on Friday, September 9, 2016. A Community Bloodmobile will be stationed on Valley Boulevard between Marlboro Road and Highland Avenue from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm for anyone interested in donating blood.

We honor those individuals who risked and gave up their lives on 9-11. For the families who lost loved ones, we grieve as a nation. We may not have known each and every individual that perished that day, but they all represent what we as Americans are made of; pride, honor and valor. The courage and bravery of our military, firefighters and police show each and every day that they are the essence patriotic Americans.

Wood-Ridge is a special place to live and raise a family. We look forward to seeing all of our students and your families come out on Sunday, September 11th, 9AM to help honor our heroes!

Please contact the Wood-Ridge Borough Hall for further information at 201-939¬0202, Ext 1.
