Coaches Certification
Description: All coaches of youth sports 16 years of age and above are required to complete certification. As a local chapter of the New Jersey Youth Sports Association, the Recreation Commission mandates that all recreational coaches be certified. The certification program is presented through a training class which uses video tapes and is held prior to the start of each sport season. There is no clinic fee for current coaches in any Wood-Ridge Recreation program.
If you will be coaching Girl's Softball, Track and Field, or Little League or Babe Ruth Baseball you must be a certified coach.
Caoches Certification for Spring Sports will be held on the following date Sunday March 16th at 7 p.m. and Monday March 24th at 7 p.m.

Finger Printing is Required For All Volunteer Coaches Providing continuous safety for all of the children participating in our recreation programs. If you need the Sport Specific Tape Only, you can stop by the Recreation Office anytime the office is open to view this tape!
