Registration

Wood-Ridge Junior Football & Cheering will hold registration for the Fall 2009 Program, online powered by active.com via the wood-ridge website www.njwoodridge.org.  Registrations will also be accepted at the Wood-Ridge Recreation Office (during regular office hours-201-939-7507), located in the Civic Center, 495 Highland Avenue. Registration forms can also be mailed along with a check payable to Wood-Ridge Recreation, to Borough of Wood-Ridge, 85 Humboldt Street, Wood-Ridge NJ 07075 Attention: Recreation. Registration is open now through June 21, 2009.

All Wood Ridge/Moonachie boys & Girls are invited to participate in our program.  Placement is based upon age or grade in September 2009.

Flag Football:  Grade K through 1st 5-6 yr. Olds on 9/1/09

Mighty Mites Football 7 yr. Olds on 9/1/09

Pee Wee Football: 8-9 yr. Olds on 9/1/09

Junior Football:  10-11 yr. Old on 9/1/09

Senior Football: 12, 13 & 14 yr. Old on 5/1/09 

Mighty Mite Cheerleaders: 1st & 2nd Grade in September 2009

Pee Wee Cheerleaders: 3rd & 4th Grade in September 2009

Junior Cheerleaders: 5th & 6th Grade in September 2009

Senior Cheerleaders: 7th & 8th Grade in September 2009

Football

Fee for registration is $50 per child or $75 per family two or more.  In conjunction with the Meadowlands Junior Football League, only Wood-Ridge & Moonachie residents are eligible to register for Football.  To ensure proper fittings for helmets and uniforms, please register by June 21^st.  

Free Football Camp will be held from Monday July 27^th through Friday July 31^st at Wood Ridge High School hosted by Coach Lange and the WRHS Football Team.  Please see enclosed camp brochure.  

Cheering: 

Fee for registration is $50 per child or $75 per family for all Wood-Ridge & Moonachie residents.  We welcome all Assumption non-resident students to register for our cheering program for a fee of $75 per child or $100 per family. In order to ensure proper fitting and delivery of uniforms, all cheerleaders must be registered by June 21^st.   This final registration date will be enforced this year.  No exceptions! A Cheering meeting will be held for all registered girls on Thursday July 9^th from 5:30-6:30 at the Wood Ridge Civic Center.  Practice uniform and cheering packet will be distributed.

Any equipment or uniform not returned from the 2008 season should be brought to the Recreation Office prior to registration.
